Parent Instruction

Delhi Public School

→ Registration Forms are to be filled and submitted to the School office within seven days of issue of Registration Form.
→ Registration does not imply admission which is subject to admission test/observation and interaction and the availability of seats.
→ Incomplete or illegible Registration Forms without photograph, will be considered invalid.
→ Date for tests/observation and interaction will be given at the time of registration and the same may be changed, on a very short notice of only two days by the school.
→ At the time of Registration the following documents along with Registration and Processing Fee of Rs. 600/- in cash are to be submitted to the School Office.
(a) Duly filled and signed Registration form.
(b) Colour passport-size photographs pasted at the appropriate places in the forms.
(c) Photocopy of Proof of Date of Birth (issued by Municipal Corporation or any other Competent Authority). Date of Birth Certificate issued by Doctor/Nursing Homes/Hospitals will not be accepted.
(d) Affidavit of no. of sons and daughters (How many sons? How many daughters?)
→ Admission to Nursery and Preparatory classes will be through observations/interaction.
→ There will be an interview/interaction for students seeking admission to Class I-VIII followed by a written test.
→ It is strongly advised that the parents should fill the registration form themselves
→ Care must be taken to ensure that the date of birth filled in the Registration From tallies with that on the original Birth Certificate.
→ If T.C. with 'Passed1 or 'promoted' written on it is not submitted of the earlier school in time, i.e. before the session commences in April, or latest by 15th of May, then the admission of that stands cancelled.

Instructions For Candidates

→ Copy of Admit Card to be brought at the time of test.
→ Candidates should come 30 minutes before the start of the written examination.
→ Candidates should bring their own pencil/pen/colour pencils/geometry box etc. For the examination.

Code of Conduct

→ Students are expected to take utmost care of school's property as their own property.
→ To inculcate the willingness and likeness for using English language, and also to enhance the students' English speaking skills, conversation only in English has been made manndatory for all students.
→ Parents and students shall not give fi)|ffteachers & any staff gifts in what soever form.
→ Misbehaviour inside the school campus and during school bus journey is a punishable offence.
→ Smoking, drinking and intake of drugs shall lead to the immediate dismissal of the concerned student. Act of grouping or infighting shall not be tolerated.
→ Once inside the campus, the responsibility for taking care of one's belongings lies with the students.
→ Students suffering from contagious diseases shall not be allowed to attend classes until the student furnishes a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
→ Students should come fully prepared to take up the scheduled examinations. Cheating or copying in any form will lead to the expulsion of the student.
→ Driving Motor Bike/Car for coming to School is strictly prohibited.
→ Mobiles and any other electronic or mechanical gadgets / devices are not allowed in the School. If caught, such articles will be confiscated destroyed by the school authorities.
→ Students are required to maintain the code of conduct strictly when inside the school campus and during the bus journey & also outside the campus.
